The winery was founded in 1887 by Francesco Mionetto, in the small village of Valdobbiadene, located just north of Venice, in the heart of the Prosecco region.

The nose has spicy, smoky and toasty aromas. The palate is rich and quite buttery with soft mouth feel and lovely flavours in the mid palate. They are reminiscent of stone fruit and citrus with subtle vanilla undertones from the oak. The fresh finish is clean and persistent.

The wine is bright in colour. The nose has vibrant aromas of dark plum with sweet spice with savoury notes. The palate is medium bodied with rich and intense fruit. The wine finishes with soft, fine tannins and lingering spicy fruit.

A medium-dry style with delicate pear and tropical fruit aromas. The palate is full showing intense ripe citrus, baked apple and vibrant pear character with a fine structure and a long off-dry finish.

This Pinot Noir has a bright colour and a sweet floral bouquet of red cherries, strawberry and spicy aromas. The palate is medium bodied and carries an abundance of sweet fruit and ripe silky tannins. The wine has a fine structure with a rich long finish.

The colour is pale pink with tones of rose-gold and copper. The nose is sweet and lifted with intense aromas of crushed raspberries, watermelon and peach. The palate just off dry and the natural fruit sweetness is balanced with a mouth-watering acidity that gives the wine a juicy sensation.

The nose is fresh, bright and vibrant with gentle aromas of cut grass, nettles, gooseberries and piquant fresh herbs. On the palate the wine is bold, up-front and zesty with mouth-filling flavours of passionfruit, gooseberries and fresh herbs.

There are hints of cassis, tobacco and plum on the nose. The palate has great structure with an abundance of fine ripe tannins. The wine is complex, mouth-filling and well-balanced.

The Reserve Sauvignon Blanc shows intense lime and herbal aromas with good weight and texture and fine acidity. The mid-palate leads to a dry, persistent clean finish.

The nose is complex with sweet spice, black fruit aromas and some black pepper notes and spicy overtones. The palate is medium bodied with good fruit weight.

The Gaia Project wines reflect Mission Estate's sustainability journey so far. Sourced from some of the best Hawke's Bay vineyards, this delicious Chardonnay is expressive and vibrant. Soft and generous with excellent structure; fresh citrus notes are beautifully balanced with ripe peach, apricot and finely integrated toasty notes.

The Gaia Project wines reflect Mission Estate's sustainability journey so far. Sourced from some of the best Hawke's Bay vineyards in the Gimblett Gravels (82%) and Bridge Pa Triangle (18%), with the Gimblett Gravels portion organically grown. This delicious Merlot is expressive and vibrant. Soft and rich with excellent structure; generous blackberry and currant notes are beautifully balanced with spicy components imparted from the barrel-aging.
